I love it. So great to have a humourous show about depression. I know not everyone would agree but I think it's quite sensitive to Maurice's experience.
I love Shun too. And also the weird location and outdoor setting. It reminds me of an English, Middle class Gummo.
Anyway, what did you think if you saw it?

I've watched it, thought it was brilliant and a dark humour from the start cleverly woven into the whole series

Loved it. Big fan of Howard Moon anyway. Shun made me cry when he went to the publishers.

Doreen that's the bit I just watched and that made me post. So funny and so much bathos when he does the whole 'my family died in an earth quake' story (something about the illustrations adds great weight to it) and they go 'still no'.
Just watching the last one so no spoilers.
What has Amy been in before?

I loved loved this - so different and hilarious in parts. The man who plays Shun is the writer of the series!

Ha, yes I'm a big fan of Howard Moon too - maybe it's his life after the Mighty Boosch Grin

Brilliant, please do Betty. (Though we're a pretty niche demographic - just 7 of us so far!)
I think Julian Barratt always portrays a brilliant lost and confused character doesn't he booby? That seems to be his thing. I'd like to see more of his acting.

I watched it from start to finish yesterday in one sitting. I spent all of episode 5 and 6 in tears, it was so moving, yet funny. I just loved all of it and will be watching it again as I'm sure I missed things the first time.

And I loved Julian Barratt so much in this, I'm considering adding Julian as an extra middle name for my new baby! He's brilliant.

I thought it was a very realistic depiction of depression, so sad to see the pain in them but it was balanced nicely with dark humour

'Love makes it worse' was a great line
