First episode on Sky One tonight, anyone giving it a go? It's the new spin off of Arrow and the Flash and has Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Wentworth Miller as Captain Cold and Dominic Purcell as Heatwave among others.
Have to come clean and admit I've seen the first 6 episodes (thank you Kodi!) but I'll be watching it tonight again without the constant buffering

Yep. Set up to record though as I haven't watched this weeks Flash/Arrow yet and I'm assuming there will be crossover stuff. I'm going to have a binge watch of all 3 on Friday

I'm still catching up with Flash, I've got all of season 2 to watch yet but I managed to get the gist of most of it in the first couple of episodes. It helps that DS is hugely into DC comics so he's been giving me pointers.

My DH is ridiculously excited about this. With Flash back this week as well (thank god as I was getting fed up with his grumping over the massive mid season break!), he is like a pig in poo . We've never really watched Arrow properly - feel like I should, but the thought of catching up on 4 seasons is a little daunting! Have you watched Supergirl? That's pretty good too, and apparently will have a Flash crossover at some point.

I can't get into Arrow at all, I keep trying mainly so I can keep up with all the crossovers but it drags a bit for me.

Arrow Season 1 was ace, 2 was shite (and I stopped watching) then got back into it for Season 3 (because by then Flash had started) and thought it was fab, Season 4 started slowly but picked up towards the mid season break. The Olicity thing is grating, but is about to explode (according to Stephen Amells FB).

I am SUCH a DC geek...

So glad there's a thread for this. I'm mostly watching because of Arthur Darvill, so excited to see him in more of a main role for a change! I'm not too familiar with Flash or Arrow though so I'm hoping I'll be able to follow everything ok...

Ive managed to start a huge crush on Captain Cold, he just gently growls his way through every scene he's in!

Oh I quite like Snart too. He's a bad boy with a sense of duty. Mmm.

I'm not sure about Rip Hunter. I know he has to exist because of the comics, but I would have preferred a spin off involving Constantine.

I've not watched Constantine either - I hope they don't cross that one over as well, it's complicated enough with all the different character storylines going through it!
No spoilers but Rip Hunter gets more personality over the next episodes.

I'm pretty sure Constantine was cancelled after only one series - I'm not even sure if it made it to the UK - I watched it thanks to American SIL. Constantine was a Demon Hunter and he did a 1 episode 'reprisal' in Arrow before the season break - he was seriously cool. It was more of a Horror show (like Supernatural) than a DC comics thing.

In the Arrow episode he was a major factor in bringing Sara Lance back/making her whole again. So now she is on Legends I wonder if he'll turn up there.

Constantine is rumoured for the next season but that's cos they're going to have a rolling roster of team members and shake up the team frequently.

I want to see him again.

Constantine was great when it got going. So frustrating that it was cancelled. Really want to see the episode of Arrow he was in. Sadly, they've pretty much ruled out any return for him in this DC universe

Thought the first ep of Legends was pretty good. Surprisingly funny.

Resurrecting this to see if anyone is still watching and what do we think? Sky's catching up to America now - I think it's only 2 episodes behind.
