it really unreasonably annoys me when Nigella cooks in her nightwear!!! Surely it's a fire hazard with those silk sleeves flopping about over the hob?!!!!

my dh spends the whole time making fake sex noises everytime she speaks - so his problem if his christmas dinner is crap!

you parboil the potatos, then bash them round in a colander, sprinkle with semolina and they come up really cripsy!

I had never even heard of putting flour on them before roasting, so Nigella's semolina trick was a bit of a mystery, but turned out great.
I like semolina as a pudding with prunes, never thought you could have it savoury.

we did the gingerbread stuffing for our duck and omfuckinggods it's divine..... really really yummy. so christmassy and tasty. i could have sat there and just eaten the pot of stuffing!
