I agree. We are watching it, but then anything with John Simm in it goes on Sky+ in our household. It took me little while to identify David Threlfall. He is amazing though.

I even looked up the case on the internet. The culprit will be eligible for parole / release (not sure which) next year.

he'll be eligible for parole as he has life sentence. hopefully he won't get it. I thought it was good but they never explained the girl that escaped. Did she go to the police etc?

I cried my eyes out at the end of that

Apparently he is eligible for parole in 2016

I was wandering about the girl who got away. Nothing came of that story. Maybe that part was fiction?

Still a fab 2 parter.

Loved it. It's the sort of programme I really like. Amazing how far we've come

It said at the end that he pleaded guilty to a sexual assault, but was she a sexual assault or attempted kidnapping? And would he have pleaded guilty if she had never been to the police? Yes maybe she did represent his other victims that may never have come forward.

Really enjoyed it but felt they did a good job of reminding viewers that these were real murders, not just entertainment. Brilliant to discover that genetic fingerprinting was discovered in Leicester.
