coronation street - whats claire doing?

im not upto date on corrie at themoment so have missed whats going on with claire and her mums supposed illness - anyone know?

claie has postnatal depression,but it hasnt been proved yet,she is pretending her mum has cancer,so she can leave the kids and pretend to be visiting her mum.things are going to get worse,in the next few days..

She was in a cafe playing the fruit machines when she was supposed to be with her dying mum. Is she gonna have a gambling addiction then? As well as PND?
