It was the one where the old woman who had run a children's home had been killed.

One of the young girl's had been raped-did we ever know who had done that?

And her best friend had killed the baby so as not to lose her as a friend

Iirc it's an on going story line. We loved it, we were glued to it, keep watching think it's revealed later on. I think I remember who it was but won't tell you as it'll be a huge spoiler.

I'd forgotten I'd replied to this. Thankfully DameDazepam remembers better than I do, but yes, there's more to this story and will be revealed later. The 'childrens home' is very near me.

Well I've just watched the final episode & tbh,I didn't get it

Couldn't tell if it was the policeman investigating (Alys's dad), or the boss who went into the cell at the end.
