I KNEW the first reply would be about the guys in itGrin

don't blame you tbh. I do have a thing for Jim and Simon and DC loves Lawry and Larry- actually she loves all of them, even Martha!

dd and I did a little excited dance when we saw that series 5 is starting Monday.
Does anybody know what time it will be on?

4.30 Monday. cbbc.

notice theyre going a bit more recent, theyve alwasy stopped at WW2 but seen the lovely Jim as an American astronaut, that would be the 60.s, and the song is about Rosda Parks so thatd be around the 50's/60's too.

Gah, I'm still at work at 4.30pm, I hope they repeat it on Saturday mornings as they used to, or I watch it on iPlayer.
I read somewhere that there will be a song about Dickens done as a Smiths song, can't wait.

I still don't quite get the Scottish bank holidays. We did the early May holiday, both at work and the schools but not this one. I'm from Bavaria and there are loads of bank holidays there.
I might have to watch it on iPlayer. Time to get a Sky box that can record, I think.

How could I have missed this?? Will catch up on iplayer! We met Terry Deary and Martin Brown at Warwick Castle on Saturday. It was fab. They were both lovely. Really took their time talking to the kids and signing books for them.

Wonder what Morrissey makes of that?! Grin Totally wasted on my DCs ... had to do some Googling to show them.

I did spot Al Murray - how cool to get a cameo appearance.

but aren't most of them aimed at the more mature audience members ! How many under 14s would recognise Adam Ant , Kate Bush, Simon and Garfunkel, even Take That ?

I love that they spoof older stuff as

1-decent music was older music,

2- makes kids appreciate originals like Adam Ant/Smiths etc. (most of todays is crap)

eg- I love Simon and Garfunk so DC knows their stuff and she knew what Mat and Jim were doing on yesterdays.

and David Bowie and Adam ant.

so Im all for it.

Kate Bush came on the radio the other day and Dc said 'its Mary Tudor'!!!
