So excited about this....but can't remember what happened at the end of the last one! Was there a cliffhanger ?

I can remember thinking that the season4 finale was excellent, they managed to conclude everything in a way which would have satisfied had the show been cancelled at that point and then right at the end opened in up in a whole new direction. However, I cannot actually remember a single detail of what went on may need to find somewhere to watch it before season 5 begins.

Apparently this is what happened, having read it I feel like I need to go and rewatch the whole of season 4 to get to grips with it!

Oh Gene - I remember the boat & Olivia getting shot..... It was excellent, but anyone reading that episode synopsis would think WTAF !
Can't wait to see it though.

At the end of last season Olivia saved the world and then found out she was pregnant. The last season will go back to the creepy flash forward where Desmond from Lost and Etta (O & P's now grown up daughter) wake Peter Walter and Astrid from ambernation 28 years in the future to help them fight the mean Observers who have now taken over the world.

There will be only 13 episodes and the writers have said that they have conceived the last series as a 13 hour long movie.
