as they start from a tiny hutch into a mansion and im always guaranteed gobsmacked!! of how they finished it !

They do a extreme makeover for people who don't like their looks. Involves a lot of plastic surgery and dental work.

I never know which shows you get over there, I too love Homemakeovers--it usually does make me cry too....I thought it was just an American thing!

Do you guys get the wifeswap shows? Now, I would like to see that done in the UK or Japan---they are unbelievable. An anthropological study unfolds each week for me.

ooh yes wife swop - that started over here didn't it in the UK - never seen the american one thou, we also get the next top model one - not seen that either.

The American one is really, really gross--unbelievable, like watching a car wreck, I can't help myself though and can't take my eyes off the screen. I don't know where they get the people from.
