WHAT????Shock

Nice post catmilk Angry

No diffrrent to the 7up series. A show following children as they grow.

SN kids are just that....KIDS. They deserve coverage too. Not hidden away.

magicOC · 05/06/2011 20:05

Oh and FAB I will be watching just as I have the others.

5inthebed · 05/06/2011 20:06

WTF? Hmm

DO you have a child with SN?

I can;t wait to see how they are all doing, I've followed this from the first series.

lottiejenkins · 05/06/2011 20:08

Catmilk i am disgusted by your post and will report it, my lovely ds has special needs and in no way is a freak....................

TheOriginalFAB · 05/06/2011 20:09

magic - see you there.

Didn't think to report that idiot's post but do go ahead and report her.

OP posts:
lottiejenkins · 05/06/2011 20:11

Have reported. I resent children with special needs being called freaks!!! But there i should feel sorry for the poster for having such a narrow minded attitude!!!

5inthebed · 05/06/2011 20:12

I have reported as well.

I was glad to see that Shelby was in the advert. I do often think of her.

AtYourCervix · 05/06/2011 20:14

can you explain that please catmilk?

Glitterknickaz · 05/06/2011 20:17

Catmilk better pray nothing bad ever happens to you.... kind of hoping it does. Karma.

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 05/06/2011 20:24

Catmilk..my child is worth 1000000 of ignorant people like you

DillyDaydreaming · 05/06/2011 20:30

Catmilk is obviously not a regular here. Am guessing they surfed on in and decided to be offensive to stir up trouble.

AtYourCervix · 05/06/2011 20:32

I'm trying hard to see Catmilk's point. Docu-drama programmes are often a bit 'freakshow' (think big-fat-gypsy-wedding or supersize types). But in this case I just can't. Born to be different has been a brilliant series featuring lovely, normal families doing what they need to do and to watch them grow up through the years. So will just report and ignore.

Yekke · 05/06/2011 20:32

Catmilk, that's just not normal. You need to look in the mirror.

Reported.

Yekke · 05/06/2011 20:35

AYC I tried to be charitable and was going to suggest that Catmilk had worded badly a concern that the BBC were taking advantage of SN children by using them for TV 'entertainment' but I couldn't explain or excuse the latter part of her comment. I concluded that deliberate offence must have been the intention.

DillyDaydreaming · 05/06/2011 20:35

She meant to be offensive and she has been - end of.

CeliaFate · 05/06/2011 20:36

I've reported Catmilk's post too.

lottiejenkins · 05/06/2011 20:37

Mods are refusing to remove the comment!!!!

Angry Angry Angry

CeliaFate · 05/06/2011 20:37

Ironically, Catmilk has started a post about being bullied. here

ggirl · 05/06/2011 20:38

love this show
How old are the children now?

PacificDogwood · 05/06/2011 20:38

I have wondered when I saw the trailer for this program how voyeuristic/exploitative it might turn out to be, but Catmilk: shame on you Shock!

Reported.

lottiejenkins · 05/06/2011 20:40

ive just posted my views on her on her thread!!!!! Wink

AitchTwoOh · 05/06/2011 20:41

not seen ep 1 but have seen ep 2... gosh, it's good. can't see in a million years how it is freak show-like. (while i do appreciate that some of channel five's output could be accused of that).
