Can anyone recommend an electric shaver for a fluffy teenage boy?

Ds is nearly 14, and it looks like the time has come to finally get him a shaver

He has AS/ADHD so I'd prefer to keep him as far away from proper razors as possible. So I'm looking for an electric shaver for sensitive skin and fine hairs. They may be soft and fluffy but there's not half a lot of them.

TIA

Mine (DS19 and DS2 15 who is autistic and can't do it himself) just use a very cheap basic one.. you really don't need anything special (definitely not the best a man can get Grin) for a few years yet. I think the one we use cost £15 and DS1 has been using it since he was about 15 and he has 'proper' bristles now and it still does the job.

Eventually we will buy him a decent one.. or he will grow a beard like DH !

Cheapest battery operated Braun or Boots own brand will do at bum fluff stage. Even at my advanced years same would do if used daily.

Lot to be said though for them learning how to use a disposable 'safety razor' with or without aerosol foam.

Thanks for this. I've been looking at online reviews and found a good Braun, also a few people saying Boots have some good ones at reasonable prices (don't want to waste money in case he won't use it). Have also heard that wet razors are better for the skin so yes, I'll aim for that in the future.

He definitely needs one though, he's starting to look ridiculous.

thanks

Mine found that the electric ones didn't work with the first stage 'fluff' - so both opted for proper safety blades and foam/gel - despite both being 'cack' handed neither has really had any bad cuts. Wet shaving seems to help keep their skin clearer from spots too.

Thanks Zippy. I wonder if we need to go straight to wet shaving with a masterclass from dh? Pondering...

I’d recommend the Karmin T7
