Trigger for my daughter is 'mum, would you like me to make you a cup of tea?'

I know she is going to ask for money, a lift somewhere, to borrow my jeans or all three.

my daughter does that, and borrows my jeans - im a midget and shes tall - so she just wears boots to cover the half mast legs.

really pisses me off!

so yesterday, i wore a pair of hers, rolled them up and stuck them in MY boots - HA!

If my son brought down on plate there would still be more crockery up there than down here!Agree though he is after something and money would be my guess too!

God I'm a complete wuss by comparison - I go and retrieve stuff because I value the availability of crockery more than I value teaching my DCs to be functioning adults. Or something.

Custardo - I reckon the plate just happened to fall into his hand as he was on his way downstairs.

He lives in the loft so that is actually very feasible!

have commented only a tiny bit Blush noddy!

sharbie, i think its a great time to talk about contraception, maybe buy him some? he might be embarrassed

let him know where the local family planning clinic is too

also tell him that he can g here in strict confidence and you will never know about it. same goes for his girlfriend

also remember to tell him how much you love him and if he or his girlfriend ever ever get into a pickle that they can come to you will no judgement, that whatever comes of goes if he comes to you about a sexual thing, you will have a conversation that you promise you will never remind him of - ever.

also remind him if his girlfriend is under 16 that her parents can have him prosecuted for statuatory rape even if his girlfriend agrees to sex. tell him that this means he would be on a sex offenders register and that potential employers will think hes a paedophile
