What do the GPs run on in the house?

Ours have the run of the kitchen when they can't go out. They've been on a large thick blanket so far but are chewing holes in it grrr. It's so much easier than newspaper for cleaning up though.
Any suggestions - will the blanket eating harm them?!

Mine have an old fleece blanket or old towels. Scruffy is fine but Ginger will try to chew on it. I've given up on trying to stop him. He seems perfectly healthy.

They might just be making holes rather than ingesting it, but keep an eye oon them, they can get blockages from things like plastic (like the wrapping of cucumber if it's accidently left on)

Having said that, my pigs of years gone by ate shoelaces with the end bit (aglet according to 'Lost Christmas' Eddie Izzard character) and seemed to survive it. (Well they did die eventually but not from aglet poisoning )

You need to chase them round so they don't get a chance to stop and vandalise the floor covering Grin

We've got some old towels - may try them and see if they get chewed!
