Ungrateful rabbit keeps digging out!

We purchased an Eglu Go for our rabbit from Ebay a while back (at vast expense) but one of our rabbits has suddenly started chewing through the plastic 'wire' (there isn't wire in the middle but it is like chicken wire) and digging her way out.

Can anyone recommend a PVC coated wire that would not be too harsh for their feet but would keep the little blighter in? I think she is bored, so we have thrown in some toys (a football and a skateboard and son's insistence!).

Thanks

PS: before anyone says an Eglu go is too small to keep them in, we have foxes, badgers and many cats near us. Neighbours have lost 6-8 rabbits free roaming in the garden, so we think this is our only choice (they get lots of interaction with children/puppy they love).

Can you not keep them in a hutch and run combo instead? I take it the eglu is already on concrete/grass anyway so a run attached to a hutch wouldn't be much different.

Also it's not clear from your post if there are any chew toys in there. Rabbits love to chew and their teeth are constantly growing. It's possible she is bored if there's nothing else to chew.

Sorry, I meant the plastic 'wire' on the grass - so hutch/run combo would be same problem.

You may have a point - they left their chew toy behind in old hutch and can't chew new Eglu as is plastic - will get them new toy tomorrow - thanks.
