wow my chin i didn't even know was pregnant gave birth right in front of my eyes about an hour ago. one healthy kit moving around already. so happy. i saw mum and dad laying together this morning so gave them a fleece bed to sleep on when i heard her crying. i went and had a look and she was in full blown labour. within 5 minutes she pulled out a healthy baby. yey so happy! pictures on my profile.

Do you need to take the father out? With rabbits the dad sometimes kills the babies. Hope all well!

just checked and there is another baby! yey two babies in total. you dont have to take dad out they are great fathers but mum can get pregnant straight after birth so not very nice. i have taken daddy out as he was being a bit to bouncey in the cage. i will put him in again when they are a bit bigger.

they are great pets i wouldn't recommend for really small kids as they are delicate but 7 8 up wards i think they would be fine. they are clean they don't smell very friendly. i have 5 plus 2 babies so 7 now. i would have more if oh let me :)
