11 year old - suitable "names" on clothes?

Came across a discount clothes shop and found some nice t-shirts for DS. Are these "names" acceptable these days amongst the teens?

Ben Sherman
Animal
RipCurl
Quicksilver
Bench
Fenchurch
Helly Hanson

I don't want to turn him into a chav/sheep but he does like his designer clothes and when I can get them cheap, I don't mind buying them. Are these names "in" or "out"?

depends which way he leans
Animal, RipCurl and Quiksilver are a bit surfy
Helly and Ben Sherman are more 'street'
Bench is kind of inbetween

not heard of Fenchurch [behind the times]

"in" labels really differ depending on where you live and whether there is an R in the month

Round these parts its Abercrobie, Superdry, Hollister and Jack Wills for the pre teens, but I'm told Abercrombie is on its way out

I'm afraid the labels you have mentioned would be considered chav except perhaps Quicksilver..........

Animal, RipCurl, QuickSilver all quite surfy, as Mrs B says. Never heard of Fenchurch. The others are more working class townie boy I think.

Abercrombie, Jack Wills etc v expensive and poncey imho.
