Any recommendations please just moved here and had a fab haircut a few months ago, but hairdresser left on maternity leave. I then went back and had a bad experience with another stylist which has put me off going back. xx

I live in Chester-le-street and have a good one but might be a bit of a way for you! Gateshead college just by the sage is always worth a go-you can run the gauntlet of the students for next to nothing (they're supervised!) or they have a professional salon and beauty place too. Good luck!

Will do. We are having cake lunch tomorrow, there is a thread in the meet ups section called Durham 2010 meetups or something, add it to your watched list. Sure there will be another one soon. Course if you have nothing better to do tomorrow you'd be welcome too.

Just to add to your list-I have heard good things about RED(s?) at Sunderland ( think they have another salon too) and Neville at SAKs Sunderland
