Are they arny good? Did you use the cap or just do it on sections? Or should I just forget the whole idea?!

With the one I got you used a mascara brush arrangement. And it was shit. Got slightly orange and slightly red, whereas I wanted blond and light brown

i have used the peroxide one on my sister and my ds1. it came out well using the cap, you need to be brave with the length of time you leave it for, trust the instructions.
i wouldn;t do it on myself though but if you have a friend you can trust get them to do it and use the cap.

I'm brunette to, all natural if you want to go blonder you have to use a blonding highlight kit, witha cap the higher the peroxide the better. There is a extra blonding one but I can't remember who does it

I've used the Garnier multi lights kit for brown hair once before. I have very dark brown hair and ended up with ginger streaks. Was not a good look.

Actually Cyb has the description of the results exactly right

i applied it to dd;s hair too ...then I had to go over the seagull diarrohea bits with dark brown eyelash dye to turn it back to normal.

I used one of the mascara brush ones and it was awful. Asking a friend to help with the cap and peroxide kit thing has always worked well for me - I think it's because you get such tiny bits through the holes in the cap so it looks more natural.

I have used home highlighting kits several times, with the cap and torture hook, it comes out ok even when DH does it.

Best one I've used is Loreal Perfect Blonde highlighting kit, superdrug tend to stock it. Have used the Jerome Russell, bit crap, and the Wella - ok, too.

I am too tight busy to get it done at the hairdresser.

I've got the Loreal Perfect Blonde one, and am planning to use it on my hair, which is ash blonde courtesy of Clairol. What the hell - I'll give it a go.

Just had a look at your profile, Disenchanted3, and you look just fine!
