Sorry - I have no idea but bumping for you. I am quite partial to Olay Regenerist scrub, if that's any use?

oh thank you that is kind. will keep in mind as will shop tomorrow for products, or alternatively a false beard to hide dreadful chin

Lush fresh skin masks are fab. I've used the Brazened Honey and Love Lettuce - both good for deep cleansing

Origins do a couple of nice face masks and are great at giving tiny samples so that you can try before parting with cash. The black clay one would probably be good.

This stuff is great - nearly as good as real (and VERY expensive) micro-dermabrasion.

Micro-dermabrasion Exfoliator

It lasts ages and makes your skin feel baby soft; it's good on black heads too.

I use it at night, twice a week, and then put on a nice rich moisturiser and my skin feels gorgeous in the morning.

i recently splashed out on sanctuary stuff and someone on here who is a beauty therapist in RL advised for a facial to:
double cleanse, scrub, steam, mask, massage, and tone inbetween each step. I try to have a bath once a week and do it all in the bath. Trying to be diligent every morning and night to cleanse, tone and moisturise too. Not noticed any difference yet though... but it is nice stuff to use and feels like a pampering session.

I have the Estee Lauder version of the scrub linked to - it's fab but I know some people don't like it.

Have you tried a really deep oil cleanse?

Lots of MN fans of the oil cleansing method.

Go for the micro-dermabrasion exfoliator then!
Its £10.75 and will help with black heads and last ages too.

I use the micro-dermabrasion exfoliator too on the recommendation from someone here on MN. It's very good. Before I switched to No 7 I used the Olay Regenerist which was nice too, but I can't see the difference in results between the two so I'd always stick with the Boots one now. Like others I use it twice a week and have lovely soft skin the next day. Shame I can't use it every day really.
