What coloured clothes go with dyed red hair?

I've dyed my hair red, i mean a darkish red rather than ginger.

I'm pale skinned and usually dark brown hair.
Usually dark colours suit me, purple, fushia pinks, bright blues/greens, pale colours don't suit me.

However i'm wondering if my usual colours go with my hair? or am i going to have to wear black, think black is too harsh and makes me tired.

Did try a navy cardi on the other day and that looked nice, also tried a bright yellow one which looked terrible.

Any suggestions please?

I love dark red hair. I do think black looks great with it, but also grey, red, green and purple too. Whenever I see someone with dark red hair wearing dark electric blue I think that looks really striking too.

DD has dark red dyed hair, and usually wears neutral colours, browns, cream, grey & khaki, like here She wears a lot of black when she's going out, but I like her in blue - especially turquoise (she'll kill me for that one! or a deeper blue like this or this She says she'd wear turquoise more often if she could find more of it.

I've never seen her wear yellow, and the only thing she has which I don't like her in is her emerald green university hoodie.

forgot i have a collection of grey cardigans which look better than the black.

Red has never suited me, even before i dyed it.

And Rusty what a beautiful daughter you have, my hair is the same shade, although she looks more tanned than me. Really can't be bothered with the tanning malarky.

the turquoise and blues really go, shall start looking around for some tops in those shades. thanks, does she ever wear wear bright pinks or dark purples? those are my favourite colours, own lots in those colours.

Think she last wore pink when she was about 5 (but her hair wasn't red then, of course!)
She did have a purple cardigan, but she gave it to me yesterday (though she likes purple & dark red has a lot in her room, she doesn't wear them much)

I dye my hair red as well (Schwarzkopf Live Colour XXl in Red Passion, actually!) and I do wear a lot of black, or dark colours, but I also wear bright colours now and then, mainly reds, purples, royal blue etc. Yellow looks cool as well, I have a yellow vest top that I wear under a black cropped cardi and always get nice comments.

Really, I just veer away from wearing pastels or beige. But I've never suited them anyway to be honest. I'm also quite pale with dark brown hair (before dye!)

Whoops, sorry just seen that you don't like the yellow (I was trying to explain lip reading to DS as I was typing my reply!)

I wear dark pink as well, in fact today I have on dark blue jeans, a dark pink v neck top and a black cardi.
