I'm going shopping on Friday. I need office clothes. Its not anything flash, don't need to wear dark suit. Not in fashion or really going to see the public. Would like some clothes with a bit of personality & style, no designer prices. I also can't do jumble sale type shops where you hunt for the good stuff e.e TK MAXX, Primark. It has to be standard high street really Wallis, Next M&S.
I'm Asian skin (light brownish) 5'7 size 14 pear shapes. Any advice welcomed!

I love Next for workwear, check these out:

A classic trouser suit with a twist, I love the cut of the jacket, you could wear it off duty with jeans as well.

Very cute but smart summery dress that great for curvy girls and also oh so versatile (chuck on a cardi, thick tights and boots and you could wear it now).

Every girl needs a black pencil skirt, perfect for work but also great for a night out with a sparkly top and killer heels! The shirt is cute too... and it'll go with the trousers too.

Ruffles are v now and this blouse is lovely and bright, it'll go with both the skirt and the trousers too, bonus.

Working capsule wardrobe - SORTED!

Happy shopping xx

Love the trouser as I'm quite hippy and the flares help. Love pencil skirts but not sure as I have a habit of long strides which means I always spilt the back! Love the dress. Not sure about the pink top but I'll give it ago. Thank you

Couple of good basic dresses would be a good start.

What do you think of this?

Can be worn with tights and boots, layered up with a long cardi/with a contrasting cami underneath.

Oh! Yes that is perfect. Just get up and not worry about matching the bottom with the top. It also looks like it might hide my tummy. Must work on my tummy otherwise nothing will really look good. Thanks for that PCPlum

This one is pretty too-perfect with tan sandals when the weather gets a bit warmer.

Oh! Yes, I already have two white stuff dresses just need to wear matching cardigans(to make it look neat) maybe a loose jacket will smarten it up abit.

I have also decided after reading this article. French women don't look old I'm going to go for 'expensive French woman' look on a budget. I'm sure middle income women, do look old in France like everywhere else.
DH very keen on the idea. None of them have the hair cut I want though.
