shoes to wear with jersey dresses

In an attempt to stop wearing jeans every day, I have invested recently in a couple of jersey dresses, about knee length. What do I wear on my feet? I tried black knee length suede boots earlier this week but wasn't happy that it looked quite right. Is there anything flat that would be appropriate with a jersey dress and coloured tights... I'm all for heels but find sprinting down the road after DS2 a trifle tiresome unless I've got flats on.

I would either wear uggs, knee high heeled boots or high shoes.

I would wear either long boots or flat pumps. I bought some nice ones from Oasis via Asos to go with a new jersey dress.

I practically live in them.

I wear ballet pumps, calf length flat boots, chunky heeled mary janes, patent brogues.

I find black 'ribbed' tights always look great with the too.

one is this one but in green, another is a monsoon one which I can't find online but I got it in the sale - it's basically this shape but patterned.
