High street dresses suitable for Bridesmaids

Hi there,

I am trying to find dresses for my bridesmaids, either purple or natural green. I don't want anything too formal so am avoiding 'proper' BM dresses. Have tried Coast and Monsoon but not found anything right yet.
Anyone have other suggestions for shops to try?

Debenhams have a really good wedding section and think the sale is still on, might get a bargain. Look online.

was going to say BHS but they are weddingy type dresses.

All adults, early to mid 20's with good figures.
Nothing caught my eye on Debenhams when I looked a while back, will have another look.

I would get them made if you have an actual colour in mind

otherwise it's VERY stressful trying to find exactly what you want ( as I remember shopping for my sister's wedding)

Have you looked at StyleShake online ? You design your own dresses, and the price is very reasonable. You can do standard size or made to measure

Tried Coast already, and we had picked a dress, but one of them turned her nose up at it.
And we also considered Styleshake, but some of the pictures put me off, they looked a bit shoddy.

Will have a look at ASOS, but their bloody website is always really slow for me, and I'm a bit apprehensive about ordering online without trying on. But I suppose we can send them back if they aren't as they appear.

I don't know if they ship to the UK or if you have someone that could send them to you but jcrew do a lovely selection of bridesmaid dresses and they all come in a great selection of colours.

Try Boden - we're having the Must Have Shift for our bridesmaids because we didn't want anything too formal/dressy. I think it comes in purple.

Whereabouts are you based? If in London there's Traffic People which does floaty-ish chiffony things, if that's what you're after
