shorter hair maybe ?

my hair is longish, have had it cut to the shoulder before and it kept curling out like miss hooley.
maybe if i went shorter so it didnt touch the shoulder it would be better do you think ?

or is long hair much nicer and i should just have the usual trim?

I think really short, elfin crop would suit you. Only thing is when you go short you have to keep getting it cut.
