I think it was me Cat!
Cybill, i lloked at the Hobbs stuff and it seemed a wee bit dreary this year. Also, i've bought nowt but long plain black coats for years so wanted a tiny bit of variation.

Fimbo -The Lindsay coat is gorgeous - do you have to be tall to wear their stuff?

Report
FimboFortunaFeet · 05/10/2009 23:00

too short?

I am 5ft 8 and too short for their trousers. I agree the coat is gorgeous but when you look at the model it is slightly above the knee, so you may be able to get away with it depending on your height.

Wee bit frumpy Plum as is the second suggestion from Fimbo (thank you so much for helkping though!) but that LTS one is divine. Are they 5 8 and above? I'm 5 7. Will it look too big?

I think it really is one of those things that need to be tried on.

Are you near an LTS shop? I could go and try it on but it wouldn't be until the weekend after next.

Not fur, but lovely shape:

No......
My nearest Liverpool and Chester but working every hours God sends and having a dh on other side of the world limits frivolous forays into clothes shops at present.....

Not as keen now I've seen it on the model actually - bit flary at the bottom. I love the general style of the top bit though.

I can see it working on the right sort of woman...who definitely isn't me though!

I wonder if Karen Millen have changed their designers. I don't like any of their stuff at the moment.
