Budget?

If lots, a Rolex is a fab gift.

Snobby maybe but mine wears a role

Me im happy with a cheap £5 one from the market but men are funny with watches.

My dad will only wear brightling (sp)

I bought DH a Tag for one anniversary. It's the sort that don't need batteries. It's his main watch, and he only wears his old, cheap one, when we go on holiday.

I bought my DP a Tag for his 30th. He bought me one once and was very keen for me to repay the favour!

He has two Bell & Ross watches and a Reverso. He decides what to wear depending on rest of outfit.

I got dh a blancpain for our 10th anniversary

very tasteful, very discreet and hideously expensive ...

DH wears a second hand (or 'vintage') rolex which I bought him when we got engaged. You can get some of them quite a bit cheaper than new. I searched eBay for watch dealers and then contacted a couple directly to let them know my budget/style wanted etc.

My DH got an Omega for our 25th Wedd Anniv. He chose it himself as there are so many to choose from & a watch is soooo personal. Went to a jewellers where they specialise (the kind where you ring the doorbell to go in & then they lock the door after you & keep all the beautiful watches locked up ALL THE TIME) in Rolex etc. Twas fun & had a nice day out as we went to a town about 1 hours drive away. Anyway DH very pleased and wears said watch every day.

Dp wears a Tag that I bought him on our first anniversary. I also have one - they are fantastic watches - I never take mine off and it is wearing very well - I have had it years and it still looks new.
