it's such a silly thing, but it gives me the heebies. it's like finger nails down the black board kind of stuff.
i'm 39 weeks today, but as in first pregnancy, nipples already making stuff, which thickens and is hard to clean. it drives me really mad, as i hate the sensation of the actual clean. eeewwwwhhhhh!!! but needs must, even tho i'm not planning to breast feed, can't have gunge on nipples.
what do other people do? please say this happens to you too

quick swoosh in the shower works for me

you don't need to pick stuff out of the crevices or anything you know

and even if you were planning to bf, gunge on nipples is positively beneficial - it acts a moisturiser to stop them drying out and cracking.

Is it colostrum?

it is colostrum

just wash your nipples and breasts as normal, and don't poke and squeeze

why eeeew? it's just a bit of milk

you;ll produce a lot more goo and gunge from your foofoo when you deliver

i know it's silly, it's just the one thing i can't stand. mainly because i can see it i suppose.
i don't mind the other bits including foo foo, as i can't really see it.
i think my reactions to the leaking and producing parts of my body make me wonder whether i'm a part cyborg, or just uncomfortable in this body.
