How many bras do you have...?

I think I am a bit under-supported! I have 5- 3 in the same style- T shirt, padded, underwired, in black, nude and white and 2 in the same style, balcony padded, T shirt. All M&S.
Boring, or what ? Do I need to get more glam???

Have 4 that fit me at the mo'. (pregnancy boobs)

Apart from those less than 10 I'd guess.

3 that fit (sort of) as I'm still losing preg weight and don't fancy spending loads until I'm back to my normal weight.

Definitely go for glam, you'll feel wonderful when you prance around in front of the mirror! Elle McP does a good glam range, though I'm not convinced they fit brilliantly - maybe it's just me. Or maybe it's just that I've trimmed down a bit since buying them.

About 9 or 10, I only wear the same 3 or 4 though [slattern]

I have tried on a few Ellie McF and think soem are rather scratchy! The sizing is a bit weird too, though they seem to come up smaller which is great, as my34 Bs need a 34C or 32 C in hers!!!

I just somehow cringe at spending £30 ish on a bra when M&S do a great uplifting job at £2 or £16!

Convince me otherwise.

so if you have 30 -35 bras, how and when do you wear them all- most must stay at the back of the drawer, surely?

howtotellmum M&S dont do my size and neither do most high street retailers unless they stock the fantasie range.Im a 38JJ and its really annoying.

Cheaper bras in that size generally are really badly made and offer me no support. The wire also snaps really easily.

Personally I hate M&S bras!! The sizing is all weird and unless you know what a good fit is or get checked you end up coming out with a crap bra.

Oh yes, most do stay at the back of the drawer and I wear around 8 or 10 of them on regular basis.

Some were bought to go with specific items of clothing that had cut out backs or low fronts.

Some were bought with matching knickers for weekends away

A couple are just big mistakes.

A couple were bought when we went on holiday and I'd forgotten to pack bras.

5 of them are sports bras, but in slightly different cup sizes. they have to fit perfectly for running and I change according to time of month.

So I can make excuses for all of them. But I have to confess that bra buying is a weakness of mine, much like shoe buying.

Also if M&S dont have your size they try and increase the back size to enlarge the cup. Eg 38D to 40D this works once but when they then do a 42E you get a really ill fitting bra.
I used to work for an independant store in the lingerie dept. When it closed (and my boobs were smaller) I used to use M&S and always came away really disappointed! Rant over!!!!!

Three.

One white.
One black.
One nude.

All feeding bras. Bit lacking in the glam dept but eh, I won't be feeding forever.
All decent fitting as they were bought as a proper 'look at your norks' bra shop.

onediet- I think we are just different shapes! I am a 34B and their push -up padded Tshirt bras add inches to me and fit well.

Around 15 in the right size that I actually wear.

Many others (50 or more at a guess) in the attic in all the other sizes I've been in the last 4 years.

i have 4 nursing bras that I wear at the moment...2 black and 2 white. They don't fit well as DD is 14 months old so my boobs have shrunk considerably since I bought them!

I have kept all my normal bras in a variety of sizes and styles....maybe 15 of them.

about 8, of which 1 (bought yesterday, oh and my sports bra bought a few months back) fits me properly. have been constantly changing size +pg/bf over last 7 years and in the mean time i've trained as a bra fitter, so i now realise all the ones left over from pre-kids are the wrong size anyway.

actually thinking about it i'm missing a load i bought between pgs that should still fit - must go for a rummage in the loft later...
