One of my friends had some last summer and swears blind they reduced her cellulite and toned her bum so I'm tempted but they're quite pricey. See here

Got mine a couple of summers ago and I think they're great. They have put the price up a bit but if you wear flip flops normally in summer you'll live in these and tone up. I suffer from a sore back and find that they really help. Can be a hazard thoughl, I 'fell' off mine when carrying hot tea last summer and burnt myself really badly but I am very clumsy anyway!

I have two pairs, I lived in them all summer, didn't wear any other shoes. Not sure if they did anything to my bum and thighs though. Will be wearing all summer again

i have 3 pairs, 1 black walkstar, 1 brown oasis and a pair of black gogh, i love them and find i walk more naturally in them, i also have a pair of ridiculously expensive MBT sandals but prefer my fitflops.

Ebay is good and just recently i have been using this online shopbells shoes

I have been wanting a pair of these! I had a look at the bells shoes site and liked the gold sequin ones, would you say they are as good to walk in as the walkstar ones?

OMG! Those billow fitflops on yaddas site look so cosy!!! I could go straight from my uggs to those each year!!!

havent tried the sequin ones yet, but i quite fancy a black pair. the gogh slip ons are as comfy as the walkstar so i imagine the sequin ones would be fine too.

if you want billows buy them before the cold weather hits if you can get them cos come winter they are like gold dust, i tried loads of different sites over the winter but couldnt get my size

I've got billows (try cloggs.co.uk) and black fitflops

Wear them all summer/winter

Celulite has decreased (but am also going to the gym so not sure if its a cumulative effect)

i can only find size 3 and 4 in the black billow on most sites all the size 6's seem to be out of stock

Just back from 2 weeks hol where i lived in my new walkstars - wore them all day everyday for the first 2 days and by day 3 my thighs and bum were killing me! (they do suggest you wear them in gradually to avoid this) Super comfy, quite spongey underfoot - thought nothing could beat my birkies but these are fab.

I'm another birkie fan so thanks for that!

How do they work? Aren't they just expensive flip flops?

Yep, I live in my fitflops from April til September. They definitely tone my legs.

Like mine lots planning to get another pair this year- just had an email from Boots who now sell them and seem to have sizes - I think the size is true but quite loose if you have slender feet (which sadly I don't)

i have only bought ones with black or brown soles so far as i thought the white ones would get grubby quite quickly?
does anyone have a pair with the lighter soles, are they hard to keep clean?

surreylady, bells shoes are a wee bit cheaper than boots (£1)but they do have free delivery!

Had a pair last year - they gave me blisters the first time I wore them but I persevered and they became really comfortable. Definitely don't believe they toned up my legs or anything though.
