and lead a life of going out loads with friends and getting dressed up.

So ended up buying this yesterday.

I am 35 and have a 3 year old and 6 month old.

I am returning it tomorrow. Am i the only one who buys clothes that are too young and for a life i just don't lead any more?

It did look nice though . . .

Ah, see what you mean.

Am 39. Stopped doing topshop, except for bags and jeans, 2 years ago.

If it looked nice then keep it for pity's sake!!!

My sister has great legs but took her skinny jeans back because she has two kids and said that a mum shouldn't really wear that sort of thing.

Tosh!!!

Have got a blazer it would look nice with but just don't think i'd get much wear out of it and also it is a bit crappy quality.

Am wearing white skinny jeans today though - so still quite impractical and hopefully not too mumsy.

If you're 35 - why on earth would you buy into that whole 80's thing - it's awful.

IMO.

Can't get jeans that fit from anywhere else, always feel a bit weird pushing the pushchair round though......still can always use it to knock over stick thin 19 year olds, (am not a bit envious, oh no...)

I went to Miss Selfridge the other day and was actually a bit pissed off that they hadn't done their merchandising to allow a pushchair through!!! I chuckled to myself about that one.
