I need a lovely green dress for a wedding ...

I'm in the wedding 'party', and the official colour is green.

Not a lot of green about, in the right shade. For my complexion and colouring, it needs to be a rich green - say emerald, or bright mid-green ... nothing too pale/yellowy.

No boobs, good broad shoulders and legs - so halterneck, or oriental neck, or boat neck good, or folds of fabric around neckline good. Normal scoop neck no good. Long length, or above knee good. Mid-calf not so flattering.

Wedding isn't actually until August but am beginning to look now - thought I'd have a nosey ... any ideas/suggestions of where to look?

Ta.

I have this, its a lovely rich colour:

might not be smart enough for a wedding though and broad shoulders might look even broader......

Ah, thank you all. Forgot to say - doh! - that can't do strapless ... v v little to hold one up.

Some lovely suggestions. Especially like long, striped (on front) Coast one MrsBadger, and on the Phase Eight site, that green is perfect ... the shape of the middle dress (the one showing front and back) Is My Perfect Cut. Wonder if they do it in green ...

Thanks, ladies. Food for thought. Keep 'em coming, and/or I'll ask some more nearer the time ...

Ooh, more lovely ideas. Thanks so much! ggirl, those suggestions are fabulous - especially this. Can anyone find a 34A padded bra that could be worn with that dress?!

Tonight I was promoted from reader to bridesmaid-and-reader , and it's a choose-your-own-dress affair. The bride likes these ideas too, so thank you again.

glad you like them

this bra might work loads of others if you search the site in your size.
