My god! I have a date!! its a blind date and he sounds lovely.

We are meeting in a local town next Saturday night. Just one problem, I have recently lost 5 stone and I have no idea what does or does not suit me, or what is acceptable on a first date.

Any ideas? I'm a size 12-14, I am busty though so tend to avoid anything too low cut. About 5 ft 4. I like jeans but can't seem to find tops which aren't too casual (I tend to but t shirts).

Any ideas?

Where are you going? And how old are you? And are there any bits of your body you like to play down (apart from boobs)?

Lost weight with Lighterlife.

I'm 40, with short brown hair. I do love my curves so want to show them off, but I want him to look at my face. I don't have a huge amount of money to spend and not much time for shopping.

We are going to a trendy bar in town

Everybody always says wrap dresses but I can never get them to look right. I don't actually think they suit me although I know they are supposed to.

You don't want to look as if you are trying too hard... .

If you like jeans and look good in them, how about skinny jeans, a fitted white shirt and a very low fine wool scoop necked sweater (a colour, not black) with sleeves to the elbows? A small necklace (beads/chain), little earring (pearl and/or diamond stud type), watch, perhaps a bracelet?

You could wear boots or ballet pumps.

forget what men do or dont like, where what you want and feel comfortable in

confidence is the key, if you feel good the rest will fall into place

Hmmm. Pencil skirts look good. Not worn one of those for a long time! and I have never shopped at top shop, couldn't fit in their stuff.

I want to look like I have made an effort. Shopping trip needed this week I think.

Thats just it. I have no idea what suits and what doesn't. I end up explaining to the shop assistants and asking their advice.I like the look of the fish tail ones.

I'm between Worcester and Cheltenham but I'm in Manchester tomorrow. Hopefully its late night shopping

I am soooo excited, to be going on a date when I feel really good about my shape!
