Right now I have been told not to wear trainers except for exercising come and show me what nice shoes I can wear that are CHEAP and will survive mud/slime/whatever stuff I come across regularly

I was about to suggest some wellies.

I have not been able to find nice walking good surviving shoes that do not cost the Earth.

Something like Camper shoes but cheaper? (there are a lot of unexpensive copies)
