I am wearing this skirt.

Ideas for the rest of the outfit?

Also, other ideas not including the skirt are welcome.

You are gunna freeze, unless you put salopettes over the top.

Unless it's inside you're going to die! It's perishing at theme parks if you go on the rides.

Thick trousers, leggings under, boots, jumpers and a coat. Scarf hat gloves !

Well woolly tights and over the knee boots for starters! Plus a cashmere polo and a fur coat?!

Then you'll look great. It's not a Christmassy outfit though - is that not a thing? No daft reindeer t shirts or jumpers?

Ah! Ok. In that case I 'd wear Christmas themed bikini top. Perhaps featuring Rudolf's nose in the centre of each triangle?

AndShesGone - no, not a thing as far as I know.

Yourface - okay, thank you for the suggestion.

Or this dress with denim jacket and white sneakers to dress down?

I would think wearing short skirt to a theme park would be difficult no? Flashing. Difficult to put harness between legs?

I'm not doing the rides :) The party will be in a clubhouse inside the theme park.

Is it daytime or night time? Is anyone doing the rides? Just asking to gauge what they would be wearing.

Is the theme park actually relevant??

People might do the rides, but what I am saying is I won't.

Widow - it's relevant because it is the location? Surely a summer christmas party in a hotel would need a different outfit than a summer christmas party in a theme park.

I think there's a lot getting lost in translation here.

I recently found out that the novelty Christmas jumper/bauble earrings/musical deeley boppers thing really is a British thing, and hasn't stretched as far as Australia at all.

Op, I think we are so ingrained to think 'Christmas party - SPARKLE' it's hard to think away from that. Could you tell us a bit more about your event and what other people will be wearing?

(Also, if it were hot here, someone would definitely wear that Rudolph bikini to the Christmas party!)

I would wear a sparkly vest, metallic sandals/heels and christmas bobble earings to embrace the Christmas spirit!

Curls - actually it's my husband's work Christmas party. I'm kind of at lost because last year, it was held in a zoo, and the women were dressed up in dresses, etc. I was the geek wearing a very casual outfit. However, the year before that, I was wearing a dress, and I remember most were more casual.

So it's probably just me having bad luck when it comes to party outfits!

In that case I love the white dress. Team it with some flat metallic sandals, and perhaps something like a denim jacket. Then if everyone else is formal you can take the jacket off and you'll have a really pretty detailed dress. I think it would work as either casual or dressy, whereas your denim skirt will stand out a mile if everyone else is dresssy again
