Since getting pregnant again my skin has been terrible. The spots are finally calming down but I have lots of flaky patches on my cheeks. I wear a little bit of foundation but not loads and this and my blusher (whether powder or my lovely new Korean sponge one) sticks to and looks dreadful.

Because of my new prone to clogging pores, I don't want to slather moisturiser on so need something which will magically disolve the dry patches, preferably overnight! I hot cloth cleanse but it's just not sorting it.

Have you a very mild exfoliation product? I use Dermalogica Daily scrub, which is rice powder, but it costs a fortune so it gets used very sparingly!

Failing a specific product type, there are recipes for oatmeal face scrubs online - they are supposed to be very gentle.

After any exfoliation, I'd pop something mildly moisturising on there, whatever you have really.

Eucerin do some good stuff that'll sort it out sharpish. I forget the name just now and I'm not at home, will check later.

This is going to sound weird, but try soaking some cotton wool in milk and smearing it on your face and leave it to dry. It's incredibly soothing and will exfoliate your skin gently.

Thanks Smile I do have a Soap and Glory scrub so should try using that more regularly. Dd's Diprobase oinment sorted my dry skin in the past but I dread to think what something that oily would do to my skin now!

Will definitely try the milk as have that in the house! My waist just looks bloated and my hair's a mess, I just want one part of me to look 'put together'!
