Looking for a purse

I have been given £200 to treat myself to a purse in memory of a relative.
I don't know where to look. I would like a leather wallet. Able to put notes in without squashing, so not a continental wallet which is what I currently have. ! Also need to be able to hold 8 or so credit cards with a zip purse

I don't want anything "trendy" but something I could still have in 20 years to remember him by.

Has anyone got any suggestions. I'm happy to put a few more quid towards it to get the perfect purse. I've looked at aspinals - a few possibilities, radley - don't like the dog theme. Mulberry a bit expensive.

Thanks very much for any ideas. I'm not used to spending such a large amount of money on something so want to get it right.

I have a mulberry french purse which is now about £275 (cheaper 8 years ago when I got one)but it is sometimes on sale. It has a long pocket in the back which fits all notes which isn't well shown on the website, this blog shows photos of all the compartments

I'd have to suggest stretching a bit for a mulberry! I have one similar to this (tho nicer imo) and I love it so much. If you can't stretch, I'd really recommend a similar zip around version, best type of purse I've ever had.
