Replacement for Kerastase Oleo Huile Curl thing?

I got a great tip right here several years ago for Kerastase Oleo Huile Curl thing, and I've used it ever since. But it's been getting harder to find and this time round I think it's been phased out, either not available, or a ridiculous price to ship from the US.

So, has anyone else found a replacement for this product or what else can I use on my curly hair which needs delicate handling to keep it in the right place between frizzy and deciding it's going to go floppy and only half curly? I have been using Kerastase thing on wet hair, and I use boots pink curl creme on dry hair (but I much prefer the Kerastase). Kerastase usually cost me about £30 for two decent sized bottles in the past and I wouldn't want to spend a whole lot more really!

Is it the discipline cream you're using?

Hi MoBro - no, not the discipline, but I wondered if that is the replacement product. The one I use is in an orange container, it stands on the lid (you can still get some of the range, including one with the lid at the other end, but it is shampoo). The discipline looks to be more expensive and in a smaller size - I suppose that shouldn't surprise me!

Moroccan oil do a fab curl cream but it's @ €30 a bottle. I've been using a Revlon one recently and it's super - and 1/3 of the price- doesn't make your hair crunchy. I'll check the name in a second but I love it.

that's exactly what I need, something that doesn't make your hair crunchy. I tried some argon (?) oil once, it didn't really seem to do anything, but perhaps it had to be applied to wet hair. What I really don't want is to spend ages buying loads of different rubbish products none of which does the job (but I still won't want to throw them out, just in case!). I suppose I could try the discipline but I'm a bit annoyed with them - surely the least they could do is explain that it's a replacement product so I know it will do pretty much the same thing!

hmm the moroccanoil thing gets good reviews and I think it's a bigger size than my Kerastase thing so thinking of giving that a try. I never buy anything without a MN recommendation!

This is the Revlon one - v easy to use and can be put in to make dry hair less frizzy too.

Well I really rate the discipline cream for frizzy curls. It's quite heavy so not great on fine hair. I haven't used the nutritive one to compare the two but I believe this is the new replacement. The morrocan curl cream is also very nice and has the benefit of being free from sulphates, parabens etc.
