So I've been having HD brows of late which j do like but I need something to tame/shape my newfound bushy power brows. I've always just used a pencil to fill in any gaps but now they are bigger I feel like I need something to brush through, like a mascara? Do I need a brow kit/gel/whatever? I'm naturally blonde with darkish brows if that makes a difference. Recommendations appreciated!

Go to a Benefit counter.

I bought Anastasia Dipbrow in Taupe following a recommendation on here. I love it! Great colour and consistency; no red tones and doesn't budge until you cleanse at night. The pot of product is small but I've been using it every day for months and have barely made a dent in it. Well worth the money.

Second the recommendation for Anastasia Dipbrow and I'm blonde and use Taupe with the recommended brush. Practise application when in no rush and you'll perfect your technique and have fab natural looking fuller brows. Love this product. Lasts AGES. Does not budge. Have walked in pouring rain and sweaty sun blazing days and it stays put!

Another dip brow fan! Again, pot lasts ages. Like, I don't think anyone could hit the bottom within the recommended time before chucking away. It goes far. I also have the Anastasia Beverlyhills pencil which is could for the wing, but with a good brush the dipbrow works great too.

I have their brow mascara (don't know the correct name) which is quite good but prefer the Benefit brow gel.

Where can one buy Anastasia please?

For budget options - Sleek Brow Perfector. Brow mascara with a bit of hold and good staying power. Need to apply with a light hand but easy to get the hang of. Five quid

Make Up Revolution Arch and Shape pencil - double ended. Felt pen at one end which I don't find much use, but pencil at other end is fab. Three quid

Another vote for benefit here! And the rimmel pencils are actually really good!

I love brow gel but it's a pain in the arse using a brush every day.

I like Benefit kabrow which has a built in brush to good to keep together. The gel isn't too soft either so you don't overdo it.

Rimmel do a cheapy version of Benefit Browzings (wax/powder), which I actually think is better than the original. I tried Wunderbrow but don't really rate it.

Has anyone tried the new eyebrow trend where a very fine blade is used to make fine cuts that are then filled with liquid dye? I know someone who does it and they have assured me it is painless and very effective but I'm a little hesitant!

I've heard of microblading Magslar but don't think I'd dare try it!! I know a girl who had it done & her brows look fab but she said it definitely wasn't painless!! Another vote from me for Anastasia Beverley Hills dipbrow in taupe (im mid blonde hair with none existent brows!) Was recommended to me by an independent MUA & its the best brow product ive used (& thats a lot!) I apply it with the Bobbi Brown angled eye brow brush. Top tip if you find the dip brow is drying up, add a drop of oil & leave it to soak in, makes it like new again!
