found perfect foundation - almost

Gosh cosmetics foundation drops in 004 naural. Love it. Looks a tiny bit too pale when I apply it but seems to settle turn a bit orange after a while sometimes but depends on the lighting Hmm

If I want it to be a bit darker, would you recommend adding some shade adapting drops but risk changing the feel of it, buying a darker shade and adding a tiny bit of that very wasteful or adding colour/warmth with bronzer, powder or blusher?

Many years ago I used a watery foundation and loved it. This is the closest thing I've found since that I can't feel on my skin.

I use the 006 which at first I though would be too dark but they actually match perfectly so maybe try using a shade. I love them so much and now use them over my ELDW Grin

I'm gobsmacked by the stuff, I really am. I've just been out for pub food, got really sweaty (delicate age) and it still looks perfect. the 004 is a pretty good match on my skin and I'm wondering if I think it looks a bit pale because everything else I've tried recently has been slightly too dark or warm.

I know, u wonder how when it's so light it can have such a good coverage and stay so well Smile I'm no make up expert but your foundations should match your skin and then you get colour from bronzer and such things! So I'm sure that's the perfect match for you Smile

I think it is kez. I'm tempted to buy 006 to mix it with as I thought I looked pale but it wasn't visible at all near my jaw/neck so it might just end up in my ever growing foundation (and every other product known to man) graveyard. I've got quite pink ruddy cheeks naturally so maybe it covered the redness I'm so used to?

Apparently foundations oxidise on skin and darken in wear for many people, so a Bobbi Brown person told me. And I think she is right, or at least, I have a drawer-full of errors that say so!

Re your drawer full of errors, I now have my perfect foundation by mixing 3 different ones together! One was too pale, one too heavy and orange and one didn't give enough coverage. But mix them together in a little pot and I've got the perfect foundation! Try it for yourselves. 😀

ive used the body shop lightening drops on foundation and it hasnt changed the texture etc so presumably the darkening drops they do will be the same

Do you mind if I ask which one you are using - is it the foundation drops, the X-ceptional foundation or the foundation plus? I think I'd like to give it a try!

I'm using the foundation drops lizzie as I don't really need any extra coverage that the plus may provide. It's so runny you'd think it impossible to provide decent coverage but it does, in a natural way.

The one I had matched 'perfectly' last week in boots definitely oxidised cresset. I'd obliviously walked around the shopping centre for 3 hours looking like a sodding oompa loompa.

I think it's the more oily your skin is, the more it oxidises. Or that could be bollocks. I'm very pale and most foundations go orange after half an hour on me. I've got combination skin.

Going to look at the Gosh one and try it if there's one pale enough.

I use them in the palest shade (002) and like them

I'm definitely going to get the slightly darker shade too as on certain parts of my face, the 004 looks a bit too ashen whereas on other parts it's perfect. I'm going to make it up as I go along and use 2 colours, not mixed together as such, but blended over the natural colour of my face. Sounds weird I know but in my head, it's going to look great Grin

Ouch, poppy, I feel your pain. I've been there too. SIsley makeover, and I looked as if I had been soaked in Tango. Even DH noticed!
