Or any other sort of oil come to that. I've tried googling and ended up more confused than I was when I started.

I always wonder as use it on DDs curly hair sometimes. I've always done dry.

Dry. Damp at a push.

I apply on dry hair at bedtime the night before I wash it but I suppose either way would work. I always wash it out though.

I have only used it on dry hair and haven't been happy with the results. Maybe I'm missing something, but have had much better results with mustard or castor oil

Coconut on dry hair and then conditioner rubbed into the dry hair then rinsed then shampoo as normal to get it out.

I've always done it on dry, but I've heard putting it on wet opens the cuticle. I don't know what to believe anymore

Dry, saturate it and leave it in all night then wash it off in the morning using shampoo first before water, then you don't get any residue.

on dry for an overnight treatment and washed off the next day. on wet a teeny teeny amount rubbed in hands and spread through ends gives a nice soft finish and reduces frizz but only a tiny bit or it looks lank and greasy. equally a teeny tiny amount rubbed through hands and smoothed over dry ends works too.
