what colour saltwaters

I want to get another pair of saltwaters sandals as I'm finding birkenstocks are starting to make my legs ache.

I currently have a silver pair and at the moment can only afford one extra pair.

I mostly wear navy and grey but feel the navy pair would look a bit boring, so am thinking the lime or fushia. I feel the red would be a bit nautical.

What would you go for ?

I have them in lime and red and tbh find the green ones don't go with all that much. Wear the red pair all the time.

What about tan?

I have tan and red. Red are cute but the tan get worn the most as they go with everything.

I don't wear tan as although it would go with blue it wouldn't go with grey.

I do like the red but again think it would look ok with the navy and blue but not great with grey.

MotherFlippinRhymnocerous - when you say the lime don't go with much, what colours do you tend to wear ?

I have yellow. They go great with both navy and grey.

I ADORE the yellow ones but sadly looks awful against my skin tone.

I wear black and navy. Never great as my hair is grey and grey clothes wash me out. I also wear a lot of colourful vintage stuff that the green ones should loom good with but it never did imo.

Find it easier to choose manicure shades with the red as well Grin.

I'd prob go with navy, but would yearn for the fish is Grin
I get what you mean by the nautical red look, it's the same on me, and it's not right on me. Yellow is not for me either. Pale blue or white would probably be my next choice. Or rose gold maybe.

Yearn for the fish??? No wonder I'm conflicted. Obv I mean fushia

I've had the black ones for ages and was eyeing up the fushia, yellow and navy ones for a 'spare' pair. The red is also a classic, but when I looked in office they only had a really bright red colour, not the darker original one. Fushia was my next favourite but had sold out and I think while the yellow would be fun - and I'd been eying them up for years - I don't think I'd want to wear them every day. So in the end I plumped for navy, but I choose the style with a buckle across my toe so they're a little different from the ones I already had. You can get 25% off in office with code glam25 by the way.

I have the red and love them. I also so found that they dont go with that much although i have worn them more this year. I would opt for a neutral colour like silver, gold or rose gold. That way, they go with everything and still look quirky!

Oh sorry, didnt see that you had the silver already. In that case, you can push the boat out and buy a pop of colour as you can already wear everything with the silver ones!

I was eyeing up the navy ones this morning but had decided against spending £55 on sandals.... The code totally swung it for me!! Thanks Sesame!!

I have a tan pair that are on their 4th summer so they really are worth the money. I have black Birkenstocks which helped my decision to choose tan. I love the red and navy but thought they might be a bit restrictive.

I've got tan. Initially thought I'd get gold or red but tan go with pretty much everything and seem a bit more classic.

The patent ones aren't as comfy as leather IMO. And navy shoes always look a bit granny to me.

So if tan is a no I'd say gold or red.

I just come on this to say I have the fuchsia and really like them, I bought them when they were reduced earlier in the summer, so a bargain. Just spotted the code Sesame - thanks. and am looking at tan original and navy classic as I already have a bright pair. Thinking I might get both in case the classic style don't fit.

I don't care if navy is a bit old as I am old anyway (late 50's)Grin

I have red and gold. Both go with lots but gold goes with just about everything. Now want silver with the code. Thanks for that!
