I have some mint velvet ones which are fine but I'd like to try some different ones .

Sainsbury's! Their luxury leggings (£10 a pair) are great.

Thank you ! Do they have a wide waistband ?

M and S basic leggings have a wide waistband. They're ok. I seem to keep going back to them.

I second the M and S ones. I'm always seeing the Sainsburys ones recommended on here but I've never actually managed to find any in the shop, either they sell out as soon as they come in or our store doesn't stock them.

Another vote for Sainsburys. I'm wearing some now...

I have river island wide waistband ones, they are fabulous.

Any others ? The ones I have from mint velvet have quite a wide band . The ones that have been suggested are thinner . I'm quite short so they stop in the wrong place . The marks ones are out of stock in my size , annoyingly .

These from Very are my wardrobe staple. www.very.co.uk/v-by-very-confident-curves-leggings/993509316.prd?sku=sku16897889&cm_mmc=google-_-PLA+-+Womens-_-Women+-+Trousers+%26+Leggings-_-_85148418898&k_clickid=6e318cbf-d31c-02c8-e29e-00002c310015?cm_mmc=google-_-PLA+-+Womens-_-Women+-+Trousers+%26+Leggings-_-na_85148418898&utm_medium=cpc&k_clickid=6e318cbf-d31c-02c8-e29e-00002c310015&utm_source=google&utm_campaign=Shopping_Womens%20-%20eCPC%20Control&utm_term=na&utm_content=85148418898&profileid=402&keywordid=na&productgroupid=pg204810&device=t&gclid=CLvX3uGH8c0CFcQp0wodFb4DOg

Topshop, their thicker ones

Sainsburys ones. You can order them online. I have many pairs and even wore them when pregnant and they've not stretched.

Sainsbo not available online in my size .. I'll look at the others

My SIL and DN swear by River Island leggings, which do have a very deep waist band.
However I find they don't stay up so well, but possibly they are designed for someone less rotund than me! Fwiw, SiL and DN are both petite with flat stomachs. So maybe depends on your build.

imjessie Wed 13-Jul-16 21:31:35

I'm short and wear a small or 8 in leggings . Not flat stomach but not massive . I'm squishy though which is why I like the band . Normal leggings cut me in half and create bulges .. Not pretty .

The River Island ones arw amazing. I swear by them. They have a really wide waistband and arw decent quality. I buy the longer length but they also come in short.
