Best place to look for an everyday handbag

My handbag has just fallen apart on route to work, where is the best place to get a replacement?- something big and sturdy and fairly classic looking that has some sort of closure (like a zip) to make pick pocketing at least a tiny bit of a challenge.

paperclips, TKMaxx have a good choice of nice, quality handbags at reduced prices.

Thanks I'll have a look. I'm currently toting a very fetching carrier bag, and had to pay 5p for the pleasure.

Years ago, we used to laugh at our gran having a little selection of carrier bags in her handbag: they were all rolled up tidily with an elastic band around them.

I really like Accessorize for big practical won't break the bank handbags. They regularly have money off deals too so you can get one for peanuts.

Yes, TK Maxx. Every colour you could think of. I've had some really lovely leather handbags from there for pretty reasonable prices.

Left field, thinking outside the box... or shoukd that be thinking outside the bag? Grin

Try a few charity shops, you may not get the myriad of choices, but you might drop on a bargain.
