Need some help from the mumsnet bra gurus bras haven't been fitting correctly for a while stayed the same size after 2 DC Grin got armpit fat going everywhere red marks etc , measured the new way under bust then at a 90 degree angle , the under is 33 inches and the upper is 38 inch so what would this mean size wise wearing a 36b atm Smile

Around 32DD, or thereabouts.

I measure 33 underbust and a 32 is a very comfortable fit, doesn't feel right at all, just firm. The trick is getting the cups big enough, it makes all the difference Smile

That should say doesn't feel tight at all!

32DD would only be slightly bigger in the cup than the 36B you're wearing. If you've got underarm bulging etc it would be worth trying a bigger cup as well for comparison.

And try different brands too, because even the right size might not be a good fit if the shape isn't quite right for you.

32DD is actually quite petite because cup size is relative to band size. When people say they're a DD cup it means absolutely nothing without a band size, some DD bras are very petite indeed.

I'd love to be 32DD, that is my dream size!

I'm a 30FF, and you would look at me and say I had fairly small norks.

Realistically the cups would only be about an inch bigger than what you are wearing at the moment.

It is the trashy media talking about 'DDs' as some sort of short hand for big boobs that have misled people into thinking that it is a huge bra size.
