Did anyone ever find the School Run Dress?

I've just seen a woman march past me at the school wearing the loveliest denim shirt/shift dress, but she was walking so fast I couldn't get out of the car quick enough to ask where it's from.

I got one from Debenhams last year but it's a bit too bulky on the shoulders/collar and a bit too light blue. I'd be interested to hear if anyone found the perfect one.

Add to the complication that I need petite dresses for my body length but then they end up too short on my legs 🙄 Perhaps a petite midi so it would end up being a little above the knee on me? Help!
