Outfit for 40th party

I've recently lost a bit of weight and none of my "going out" outfits of skinny jeans and sparkly top fit any more. So I need something new for my friends 40th birthday party at the weekend! I'm now size 12-14 and typical hourglass, quite busty with a small waist. I have a couple of child free hours tomorrow to go shopping but have no clue where to start and no real idea what I'm looking for. Help please!

Probably top and trousers, it's not a very dressy do, plus my footballers calves put me off dresses!

I am a similar size to you and an hourglass, and I quite like blouses from Oasis, and find they suit me. Will you still go for skinny jeans? Something that shows your slim waist would be good.
