Best bag for bad back?

I'm currently using a across the body type messenger bag but it tends to pull me into a stoop. I need a fairly big bag (carrying nappies, water bottle etc) but don't like the look of rucksacks, I haven't had one since school! Are there any brands designed for bad backs? Or any bags that are particularly good?
