Skinny jeans don't suit me...what alternatives?

I had a proper look at myself (by walking into a mirror in Marks and Spencer yesterday!) and noticed that I really don't suit skinny jeans. I seem to look ok when just standing in front of a mirror but on the move it just look lanky because of my shape.

I have an odd shape. No hips or bum. My legs would fit into a size 8 pair of jeans but come to my stomach which is rounded with a section hang I can be an 10/12.

What should I be looking for now? Straight legs? Or should I try different brands of skinny?
