Accessories for someone who doesn't accessorise

That's me. I want to try and accessorise more but I don't know what to buy. I'm not talking Tiffany here, just regular bits available on the high street. I'm a skinny jeans and top kind of person. I've got a wedding ring and an expensive watch and that's about it. Looking for a few versatile necklaces and bracelets/bangles. I don't like anything oversized. Ears not pierced either so don't need to worry about that. Any ideas what looks good with most outfits? ConfusedBlushGrin

Have you tried the Z for Accessorize range? Many of the pieces look more expensive than they are. Also Mint Velvet have lovely jewellery.

I struggle with accessories too and I always forget to buy them and when I do, I forget to wear them.

I found that wearing hair accessories is in good starting point. I have some nice hair clips and hair bands which smarten me up but are practical.

Skinny silver bangles, with or without a charm.

Diamond/CZ solitaire necklace.

Tattoo Grin Blush Wink but only if you're feeling daring...

Scarf.

Plain-ish necklace that you don't need to take off at night.

not on the high street has lovely jewellery, i'd go for a subtle silver necklace and thin silver bracelets or bangles, occasionally coloured bracelets.

I'm not fantastic at accessories either OP.

I have been converted to scarves in recent years - they are fairly effortless and work well with my otherwise fairly straightforward way of dressing.

I don't seem to be able to rock the statement necklace look - but I wear lovely earrings every day and feel naked without them.

I have these in several different colours and sizes - dressy but also lovely to wear daytime (photo doesn't really do them justice):

Oh how I love accessories.

Scarves, jewellery, earrings, bracelets......

A scarf draped around your neck with a long pendant necklace looks good.

I think I could wear black everyday and accessorise differently for about 6 weeks!

Fat Face have great stuff.

Do you really want to accessorise or do you just feel you should?

I'm asking because I'm getting a bit fed up with the way the industry pushes accessories and I think we may be reaching a tipping point. A pared down, no-accessories style could look really modern.

Having said that, my main accessories are my glasses and I'd struggle without them!

I feel like I should!
I've never been an accessories person really. I find jewellery quite irritating a lot of the time but I'm starting to come round to the idea of a simple bracelet and necklace. I've literally just started wearing a watch after 40 years of being without Blush
