Could you compare it to a couple of other bands to give me an idea?

Tres Tres Small! I find their trousers tiny, at least one size smaller than Boden. Tops are ok

So if in Boden I'm 8/10 on top and 12 (just) on the bottom, should I buy 10 top, 14 bottoms &12 for dresses?

Also, are they good with returns etc? Like a lot of stuff on their site but not used them before.

Finally, a lot of sale start stuff is 30-50% off, does it get lower if you wait or is that about as good as it gets?

Uh, stupid iPad. Meant to post that I find the sizing all over the place - I have one top in a size 14 that is really big but then have another one in size 16 that is quite tight. Reductions do get lower. Returns are really annoying unless you can easily get to a store to take things back. Otherwise, you have to arrange for a courier to pick up the package - you can't just take it to the post office. I have some lovely things from Massimo Dutti but they are not an easy company to deal with.

The clothes are lovely but their quality isn't great. I've bought silk shirts there and they've ripped very quickly- 3 wears Angry
Banana Republic is much better for silk shirts.

Thank you all, might give it a miss. From what I can see, there are no UK stores (in North East), plus would probably have to buy each thing in several sizes, not sure I can be faffed!

MAssimo Dutti is owned by Zara.
Their clothes are less 'edgy' than Zara. Similar sizing to Zara clothing.
On another Style and Beauty thread 'how to look / dress expensive' at the moment on Mumsnet I think MD clothes look expensive.
